Tennessee cont.
After hanging out at the house for he day while the boys had a "boys day out/bachelor party" fly fishing.
The girls finally got a chance to head out :)
We hot up the spa,
My first pedicure ever, I've never had one because I've always been afraid I would kick the person, it took some serious control to not lose it to the tickling during this...
Also this little Asian man asked me where I was from and when I told him I lived in Mexico he told me my English was very good... Lol...
Keep in mind that Dave's daughter is 1/2 Mexican and Josh's Aunt that was with us is 100% Mexican... I do not look Mexican at all compared to them!
We got manicures, I tried out the gel polish, wow that stuff lasts forever, it's like 6 weeks later and I still have some of it on and can't get it off!
We ate some lunch then stopped by the house to pick up my sister in law to go get our massages.
The massages were weird, they put three of us in a room, I went in with my mother in law... Awkward... And there were two male masseuses(sp?) thankfully I had a girl, but they did the hot rock massage part, it was pretty great.
Overall I've had better less awkward massages.

Tennessee
Josh and I went for a short hike where I tested out my new hiking boots, they sucked and hurt my feet, so those will be returned, and Josh did a bit of fly fishing and finally we checked into our Canin with the rest of the fam.
Day 341
The day started in Mexico and ended in Frosty Tennessee!
My first first-class experience, and probably my last. Some how I got booked in 1st class and Josh was back in coach.
The seats were bigger and the service, Wow!
It was pretty great!
I even checked out a couple of the lounges
Not clear, but, a buffet, a full bar, and Starbucks coffee and tea.
It was kind of sad without Josh, so o grabbed some coffee and headed back out with the normal people.
Then we drove through the forest in the middle of the night, I was stressed out and Josh was driving the rental a little fast, a challenger, because that's the most responsible car...
But we made it to our hotel, walked around Gatlinburg
All dressed up for Christmas and cold too! Last week I was getting a tan, and this week I'm freezing, great.

Days 337- 340
My last days in Mexico for a while.
I unpacked from one trip, did laundry cleaned house, and started packing for another, this one longer, 5 weeks, 3 holidays and 2 weddings.
Days 334-336
.We had to wake up early after the wedding since we had booked an excursion.
We went to an adventure park with one of our friends, more people were supposed to go, but backed out, so it was just us 3.
We zip lined
Alone...
And they hooked us get her for the bigger ones so if you didn't weigh enough you would still make it.
We even zip lined into a cave!
And in hammocks
We stopped at one of the cafes and had a morning snack, and these little birds were there such beautiful contrast!
We went on a driving adventure through caves and over bridges.
And we canoed and swam through a cave, it was cold, but really cool, I'm not sure you can swim in a cave in the US
Finally we walked through the caves to get different places, but these real dinosaur bones are just hanging out in the cave, not protected or anything, is t that crazy???
The next day we hung out in the pool all day , it was raining, but the pool bar was covered... So we did some day drinking...
And finally we had to come home on day 336.

Day 333
Now for the real reason we flew to Cancun!
The wedding, we were lucky enough to have our friends get married in Mexico!
Day 332
We booked a trip to go see the ancient Mayan city of Chichen Itza
It was a early morning rise. But we headed out on a two hour bus ride, to the city.
After you put your ticket into the gate and go through you have to walk down a big path filled with vendors trying to sell you things and you walk out into a field where the pyramids and city rise up high.
It was an amazing view, and our tour guide was really great, and we learned a great deal about the culture.
This is the main pyramid, and my second world wonder. You used to be able to climb the steps to the top back in like 2004. I bet that was amazing!
They also had an observatory, the Mayans were far ahead of their time with their understanding of space and the world!
These pillars were used to hold up a huge roof that was made out of wood and palm fronds, but they lead to another pyramid, where they performed human sacrifices... Which is crazy to me, but it was very interesting.
after our super hot day at the city it was in the 90s with high humidity, we headed to a nearby cenote to swim.
A cenote is a sink hole essentially, but they are fed by under ground springs and some are even in a cave or partial cave like this one. Some of the cenotes they sacrificed people in, this one they did not, but this cenote is so deep they can not even scuba dive to the bottom of it! And there is an underground river that runs into it. The water was much warmer than I expected too!
After a quick swim we headed upstairs for dinner. While we were eating a huge rainstorm came in! Thankfully we went swimming first!
Then on to our 2 hour bus ride home, after 14 hours we were exhausted!!!

Day 327-330
Mr thinks it is getting cold, I've found him huddeling between pillows and on blankets everywhere.
