Day 445
Mr actually hung out in his bed for the first time since moving here, I'm not sure what happened.
I finished basting the King
But not without this guy trying to eat the Pinmoors off the pins on the quilt.
But after 6 hours and about 1000 pins I finished! Phew!
Days 443 & 444
Catching up on chores, and I went for a run.
Furthest I've ever ran. 8 miles, my feet were unhappy...
Josh has also been away for a couple days... Mr is taking over his spot.
And I laid out my king sized quilt to baste tomorrow.
It was too big for my sewing room, so I had to put it in the living room.
Also because it was so big, and I had bought the full sized quilt backing and I didn't want to iron it one tiny ironing board strip at a time, so I laid it out on the floor and ironed the back, then I ironed the batting and finally the top, it worked out pretty awesome.

Day 441
My friends and I went to the mall to register for a couple of races. And we bought some fun glasses for our upcoming color run.
When we came home I quilted for my first time in FMQ, and finished the calendar quilt!
I need to pin more at the edges, but it wasn't as scary as I thought it would be! I will FMQ again.
Day 440
Every Sunday they shut down the main road all the way to centro. For walking, biking etc.
My friends and I decided to go for a run and as it turns out there was a race!
So they were handing out water to everyone that was out on the street, and thankfully they did, it was over 90 and full sun, HOT!
But the water comes in these little packets, not cups!
Day 439
I finally finish all of my calendar quilt blocks and sewed borders on them and finished the top! And got it basted!
Also I have been keeping Mr inside when the construction workers are working because I just feel weird about the back door being open with these guys looking right into my house,
But today I found this
They could have hit Mr and he would have been hurt!

Day 438
I've been working on ancestry and look what I found!
Number 1 on the page is from Josh's family and #2 on the page is from mine!
We didn't grow up in the same states! But a long time ago, 100 years before we met our families were neighbors! It was meant to be :)
Also look at how far the house behind us is coming.
Days 437
Today I moved a couch because I'm hosting a pizza and movie night tonight.
I made these crasin roll ups, they were ok, And also some garlic knots.
Then while getting dishes ready, I broke this wine glass, or 2nd wine glass to bite the dust since we have been here.
All ready! We had a great time chatting and barely watched the movie, but it was a good time :)

Days 433 & 434
Sunday was spent hanging out at home.
On Monday I finished my November block.
Trimmed some bushes
I ran into some trouble with my bobbin, I've been having a TON of trouble with my bobbins that I have been buying, I have been buying Singer brand and everything.
After switching to an old bobbin I was able to finish my December block as well.
And now all of my blocks are finished!!!! Only 4 months too late.
Day 432
Josh and I ran around to get a toll pass for the toll roads, we had to buy it at a bank, but the first one we went to was out of them, so then we had to go downtown.
I love a quick visit downtown, it's real Mexico there.
And the tiles people decorate their houses with, it's so nice. 
And started my November block,
Then we met some friends for dinner
Then while Josh was doing homework, I fit in a bit of sewing.
And finished my October block.
Then to the same salsa show we went to last year
This lady has a lot of self confidence!
Day 431
Josh and I tried out a new restaurant today.
Josh picked a seat right next to the edge.
I was a little less happy about the table, and the food wasn't that great, but we had a good night out,

Day 430
Today we tried to make taco bell crunch wrap supremes...
I have never had one at Taco Bell, but these were pretty delicious, and stayed together better than I expected!
Day 429
I had the window in the office open and I came upstairs to this, he must have really wanted to see outside.
Tonight we made the California pizza kitchen salad it was pretty good, and we would make it again.
With the dressing and tortilla chips, not quite as healthy.
