Days 406 & 407

Mr and I have just been hanging out...

But Mr went up stairs to get a snack and while I was getting ready for the gym I noticed Mr had a visitor.

This little guy made it under a gate, and over a 10 foot wall to visit! And Mr missed it!

But later he took some time to enjoy the sunshine.

Then I took a walk on the treadmill

And Mr was very interested in it, I was afraid he was going to jump on!

And finally to end the evening, Mr and I read while Josh had a conference call

Day 405

Mr spent most of his day on his new red square

And I oiled the front door! 

It turned out really nice, the desert air really dries out the wood.

Day 404

Last week when we were in the states we picked up some material to make Mr. a new red square.

Since his old one is looking pretty terrible,

So I cut the fabric and held it in place while Josh stapled it to the wood.

(We even figured out how to ask for it to be cut in Spanish and it turned out right, go us!)

I don't know why all of my pictures have this haze on them...

He seems to like it! Success! We improved and made it bigger and a thicker pad.

Then Josh went back to school work and I got some sewing done!

Days 400 - 403

Nothing exciting really has been going on, except Saturday.

I went to my first Mexican baby shower.

It was outside and it was freezing.

And apparently whole family, men and everyone were invited, and there was really loud music and Mexican food.

This was the meal...

And at least other people brought presents!

Day 399

So on my rotation of cleaning it was time to clean the guest room, I washed all of the bedding, and then I started dusting and cleaning the closet. And I found this.

Apparently my cat is now a closet puker. Ugh...

Then later he helped me with my quilting, I finally got to sewing on the outside borders of my client quilt

Day 398

Josh got the treadmill together yesterday, and today we got a rug to go under it

But now I have to share my sewing room :(

Days 395 - 397

Josh has been working on his masters, but we took a break to see the museum in town that everyone in town has been talking about.

It's called the Desert museum, but they had a little bit of everything, all the signs were in Spanish and I honestly didn't think it was the most amazing museum ever, but it was a fun day.

And we even made a friend
